Neon Nits® spray works as the final step with any lice removal system. The Neon Nits® lice egg locator spray is very rich in the fluorescent color, plus, it is formulated to be very quick drying. It leaves nits colored with a fluorescent dye formula that is uniquely patented for this purpose. To color the nits and not the hair, the spray dries as it hits the nits and the surrounding hair. Because of the unique polymer structure of the nit surface, the color quickly adheres to the nits, but does not strongly adhere to the hair. As a result, most of the color can be brushed out of the hair but stays on the nits. Neon Nits is guaranteed if used as directed on label.

Head lice nits are oval shaped, .5mm long and .2 mm wide and are securely attached to the hair shaft with a strong adhesive.  This natural glue makes it very difficult to remove the nits from hair.  Pesticide shampoos attempt to kill adult lice.  Nit Free Lice Shampoo makes nit removal easier by disabling the glue that lice use to attach nits.  Nit Free Terminator removes more nits from hair and is an important part of head lice treatment programs.

Microgrooved Teeth
Microscopic cutting edges are distributed along the teeth in a tight, spiral form.  These special teeth actually damage head lice nits as the nits are being removed by the comb.  While the cutting edges are designed for maximum effect on nits, the ends of the teeth are engineered to prevent damage to scalps.  Each tooth of the comb is rounded for your protection.
